- Gold Size is a water-based adhesive with an extended drying time. This characteristic provides users with more time to work with the gold leaf before it sets.
- How to use: apply a thin layer over a surface intended for gilding. The adhesive will at first look white, then purple as it dries (this can take up to 15 minutes), and finally transparent. Once the adhesive is transparent, it is ready for metal leaf to be applied. Lay the leaf carefully onto the sized area, gently smoothing and removing excess leaf with a soft dry cloth.
- Wash brushes in water immediately after use.
